Just trying to get a consensus on the steps involved with swapping a SD card on a expansion chassis. This is at a auto dealership so minimal downtime is important. They have a server edition running 9.1 with two expansions with PRI and IP phones registering to each chassis. We had a mix up with adding some IP endpoint licenses. They got applied to a chassis instead of the server. SO we have to send the SD card back to avaya to get this corrected.
In theory this should only take the amount of time for the chassis to reboot after having the existing config pushed to it. I have never run into this situation so any input would be appreciated!

Thanks.

It is the same like with a single site IP500.

The expansion will get it's local licenses from it's config and get further licenses from primary server. Primary server doesn't know about the dongle no,her of the expansion so nothing special to consider.

So if I upload the config from just the expansion I should be ok? I was concerned I was going to have to reboot the server and possibly the other expansion.

Recreate SD card the same version the old one is and boot with the new card. IP500V2 should with the config saved in the chassis' flash. Add the new licenses with SE manager and remove the older ones.

For sure you keep a backup.
