All, I have 2 external remote users. With Static IP adress and BT broadband modems. I want to allow them access to a server which acts as a license server within our company network, also they should be able to access other computers in the company network and be able to map Network drives remotely. Can anyone point me to a set-up guide which I can walk through ?

How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on

I have managed to follow the step by step guide and connect into the server from a cleint. The server has a Static IP address internally. When I VPN into it, it gets another IP address and give my remote client a IP address. I cannot seem to access the work network or any of the drives on the server, But I can Ping the IP address given to the server by the VPN ????

Any suggestions where I can look to see what I have not set-up.

What I need to do, - There is a License dongle on the server I am logging into. I need the remote computers to be able to see the dongle to get permission to use the software. Then secondly, the users can then access through this server the internal network

if you can ping the IP but not name or FQDN, you have a Name resolution issue. Name resolution is popular issue in VPN connection. hope this help,
