how do i check the status of a trunk group on a Nortel PBX?
The reason i need to know is a light is flashing on the console used by the operator and it is linked to a certain trunk. Does anyone know what the flashing light indicates when it is beside a trunk listing?

great tip i picked up a few years back is go to 80 and do a trac 0 acod, you'll find the acod by doing a prt rdb in load 21.. no real detail but you'll see each member and it's one line status.. the flashing light is for all trunks busy on a route..

Is there a way to increase the number of times a phone rings before it goes to voicemail? Can this be programmed on a unit by unit basis or is it setup for the entire system? If it can which load do I use to do this? Thanks for any advice that can be provided.

change the rco on the set to a larger number, those numbers are defined in the cdb, rco 1, the default is 3 rings, rco 2 and 3 where defined by the installer.. you can change those but it changes any station that is set to that rco.. changing rco 1 would normally change that option for most users..so tread light
