Status for BLF Group Members Not Shown in Softconsole

Hi All,

We have a user who's using Softconsole 3.1.15 on a Windows XP system (I beleive it's SP2). The user has several BLF groups. The members in all BLF groups do not show status, such as when a member is off-hook, has VM, etc; it shows all members as "idle". Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, what did you do about it?

I did uninstall and reinstall Softconsole, but it didn't help.

try disabling the windows firewall & checking that ani antivirus software is not port blocking

Go to the knowledgebase

http://marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase/

and look for the following zip file, it will install firewall exemption for IP Office applications.
"AvayaFW.zip"

Thanks for your replies, guys. We did disable the firewall, but that didn't help.

1043, I couldn't find that app. on the knowledgebase. I searched by filename and keywords "firewall" and "exemption". Any idea where else I can find it?

Never mind. I did find "AvayaFW.bat" in a relevant .pdf.

I'll give it a try.
