Status Conference call on 6416

Hi all,

have an IPO403DS. Operator has 6416 and XM24. Operator must setup frequently conference calls. She calls two external numbers, creates conference call and than she transfers the conference call to a 'conference room' using the 'conference meet me' function. Once transferred she can hang up but conference call remains active.

I would like to be able to program a DS key which shows her that the conference call is still in progress. Does anybody has a suggestion? Tried GROUP 'conf 100' but doesn't work.

Opeartor doesn't use SoftConsole, nor PhoneManager Pro and have not COnference module either.

Anybody sort this one out before?

best option would be to monitor the phone in the conf room
if this is the only extn in the conf it will disonnect the external calls when it disconnects

The good thing about the descibed procedure is that the operator (and initiator of the conf call) can hang up once she did transfer the call to the conference room (e.g. i use conference meet me, 105) and she will not disconnect the external calls.

I will give it a try with the User option and let you know later today.

According to Crane, this is not a supported option..

It's been put on feature request list...

Until such a feature can be provided, the next best thing might just be the Call Status application for the operator. I believe it does require an eBLF license however.
