I have a cics that is configured for stations 100to 115 for system phones. Stations 100 to 107 work fine, but I get nothing from stations 108 to 115. Is the cabinet bad or is there a setting I'm missing.
In the UK, we had different versions compared to elsewhere. The original Norstar Compact 6+16 system was also sold as a 4+8 system. The only difference was the extension connecting link cable that was marked with an "8" as it only had the first 8 extension ports to link from the CCU to the wiring box below.
When we had upgrades to do, it was quite a cost to the customer, but very quick for the engineer to carry out!.

The CICS you have has Restricted4X8 Software, you need to purchase Standard 8X16/24 software

I replaced the cabinet with an identical unit with the same type s/w card and all stations worked. The s/w card in the original unit was a Flash Memory 8MB 5.0v. The new unit has the same card. CICS-SI 4.1
They were not the same.
That is why they have system versions which is listed in our FAQ's.
Note you replace either the KSU fist or the software first, not both together or you will never know which one was the issues.
