i am now convinced after much trying that this is a bug. I have set this up on three different systems. On two of the systems it doesn't work and on one of them it does.

If I status the handsets they show that they are in station lock but can still dial out. If I assign the lock core direct to the station it cant dial out so I know thats ok.

3.1.2 does not work
3.1.1 does not work
3.1.4 does work.

Any thoughts!

I'm not surprised at all that there is a difference.

The software was going through alot of changes durring the times those loads were put out.

There are a few feature/functionality differences going from 3.01 thru to 3.12.

Are these monitored CTI stations? If so, its a known bug on Avaya. Ask them to supply you with a combo patch which includes the Station Lock patch for CTI Monitored Station.
