Here is what I have for a network layout everything I kinda of in the testing phase right now since all the locations are not connected yet. So here is what I currently have workin I have all the Internal users going through the ISA server by setting the gateway of last resort to the ISA server on the routers which is 10.0.0.2. I have a wireless system that needs to stay a public address so I am trying to set up a static route out to the T1 router to no avail. When I put in static route in such as 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.0.1. It will kick the internal users off going through the ISA server. I guess what I am asking how to I build a static route to the 216.x.x.161 with out affecting the 10.x.x.x users.

what I am sayin say I have an interface of 216.x.x.177 which is on the t1 router and I have another leased address of 216.x.x.184 I put that into my laptop plug it in to the interface I can get on the net without nat. ....its a public address so is the one down on the eth1 of grand rios im just trying to build a map to get it to the other public addresses so packets dest. for that interface are seen by the internet a static route.

I don't believe you can nat a public address thats why I am tryin to statically route it around the ISA to keep it a public address

not going to happen. Only public address can talk to public address without NAT. Private address Needs NAT to communicate on the internet. no way around that.

NAT is only a translation from public to private and back to private. before NAT there was only Public address. meaning everybody had to buy a pool of public address for all there computer that want to communicate across the internet.
