Hi
This maybe a very stupid question but i'm sure someone can point me in the right direction.

Is it possible to put a static route in our firebox so that when internal user enters our public address in a web browser it automatically routes them to our exchange server web access.

i know this is a strange request but my boss wants it done and who am i to argue.....
Any help with this would be great.

Thanks

Lee

Could be just me here, but why not give them a logical name vs. making your users remember IP addresses? Could you give us a breakdown on your setup as there may be a much easier or better way to accomplish your request (running DNS etc...)

My boss has an iphone which he would like to access owa from he would like to type our public ip address into a web browser if he is in the office as well as if he is at home.
so he only uses one address and not a public address from home and a private address when in the office.

Hi,

Why not setup his iPhone to connect directly to the Exchange Server ? No need for OWA and all email, contacts and calendar will be in synch. If your FB is allowing HTTPS inbound (and it sounds like it is otherwise OWA wouldn't work) this should be quite straight forward to setup once you launch the Exchange connector wizard on the iPhone.

Regards Colin.
