Thinking outloud here while working on a G3rV8. Customer is saying they are getting static on inbound/outbound calls, station-to-station, and also on VM messages on this entire switch. This is part of a large network of Definity switches and none of the others have this issue.
The only alarms I see concerning this switch is for an expansion interface, but I have run the test described in the maint. guide and it passes fine.
The only thing that comes to mind is a bad TDM bus terminator. Is there anything else that could cause cabinet-wide static? I've had static on T-1's and copper trunks before, but never on an entire switch.
