We have an ACD environment with a 3300 mx controller, 6160 IQ server and a 6110 ACD server. Only ACD incoming call have static noise / echoes on them. Regular Calls are fine. Look at the Status of the T1 via the 3300 controller STATE COMMAND but all the T1 Channels seems to be ok.

Only the staff at our end who are receiving these calls can hear the static/echoes on the line not the other party on the phone.

This just started happening 2 days ago.

Can anyone help?

If he had to bring the circuits back into service using the RTS command then I will bet my bottom dollar it is a service provider problem.

the tester showed the channels were back in service but we still have the same issue.

I agree with chris. If their anything like our providers they won't admit its them

Can you spare a couple of hours of down time? I had a similar issue when we turned up additional PRI span. I took all lines out of sevice. Then I enabled one, made a test call. Then enabled one more and tested again making sure I test new line every time. Then I enabled the third line and disabled the first. Using this method I found that 15 lines were configured correctly and the rest had inversed bitorder. Looks like guys in the CO assigned us a trunk which was previously used with this fancy config and didn't bother to check it up first. PRI signaling was indicating all lines in service as well. And one more funny detail, if you dial out your own number and use both trunks with reversed bit order it sounded just fine.
