Static NAT

I want to set up static NAT on my Cisco router. I want to set it up for a range of IP addresses.
Example:
1.1.1.1 1.1.1.126 NAT to 2.2.2.1 2.2.2.126

I want to the NAt to translate
1.1.1.1 to 2.2.2.1
1.1.1.2 to 2.2.2.2
1.1.1.3 to 2.2.2.3 etc.

Is there an easy way to do this? From what I read in Cisco's web site I have to NAT every static address on a one to one bases.

Hi.
I thihk there is no way of doing so statically. But you can declare sufficient NAT pool without overload and infinite translation timeout. This will do the same except there won't be simple correspondence.

Well... the truth is it can be done statically.. but you wouldn't want to do it.

For static to be configured you have to manually do EVERY conversion one at a time. So just doing static from one /24 to another would require 254 individual entries. Not counting the time of fixing typos... it could be difficult.

The correct solution is just to use a rotary pool. You can easily see who is assigned what translation with a "show ip nat translation" command.
