Static IP Mitel 5020 and 3300

Hey all, I am a mitel newbie.
We have mitel 3300 and mitel 5020 phones.
All phones use DHCP.
My question is it possible to setup static ip on a phone to use it with mitel 3300. If yes where can i make this.

Yes, you can.

Reboot the set and hold the volume up button until you see a Network configuration message. Follow the prompts and edit the network settings. The set first looks to these settings upon boot. If there are no changes from the default, the set will then request a DHCP address.

In these network settings, you can program the following:

Set static IP address
Subnet mask
Gateway
RTC address (this is the address of you 3300)
TFTP address (typically this is also the address of the 3300)
VLAN
VLAN Priority

There may be a couple of other entries, but they are not too significant.

Make sure you don't use an address that is in the DHCP range.

Another question.
We bought this system through the company that doesn't exist any more and we do not have any documentation , safety instructions and license agreements. We have a support contract with another company. The question – is it possible to find/buy technical/program guide?

Normally it's impossible. All configuration or service have to do an authorised and MITEL certifyed person. In other case you loose a warranty. You should ask your service provider. I'm in the same boots. Read on-line help embedded in the system software. In most cases it's enough for routine maintanence. Or ask in this forum, guys are very helpfull.
