I have been in tech support(internet and PC), and I want to start studying to learn more about networking. I figure if I use the Cisco Certs then they should teach me what I want to know and more. So, for now I'm working on my CCNA. I was wondering what resources you all recommend to study? Preferably books, but if there are any online, or software that is really good, let me know... Thanks...

For CCNA the Todd Lammle book by Sybex is all I used to pass with a 972/1000. Saying that I had experience on my side as well. Unlike the Sybex CCNP offerings Lammles CCNA text covers all required material. Read it, Learn it, do plenty of practice exams and you should be O.K

I also agree. Lammle's book is the best study guide I have found for CCNA. His books are not the greatest for CCNP. I was able to pass the CCNA w/ just this book, however, I also taught a Cisco class for over a year and had working experience. But several of my students went on and just used this book with what they learned in class and was able to pass with no problems.
