Are there any compatibility issues with Startalk Flash and either Feature software ver. 1.5 or ver. 2.0?
Does it matter what model or version of Startalk I have?
My Startalk is NT5B06ED-93.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,
I may have been unclear.
My question has more to do with the StarTalk itself.
Never mind the KSU for now,
Is there any limitation to how high a version of software feature card (1.5 to 2.0) I can put in my Startalk (NT5B06ED-93)?
Or is the Startalk itself, compatible with all Startalk software feature versions cards?
Now, I plan to use this Startalk on my 824 DR5.1 and it looks like they should be compatible with each other.
Thanks for your help.

KSU has everything to do with it, you can put any software in however it wont work if you dont have the right KSU version.
It's not the Startalk that cares, it's the KSU that does.

This statement would be correct:
Or is the Startalk itself, compatible with all Startalk software feature versions cards?

Same goes for phone systems and computers...you can put any verion in them if its built for them.

For DR 5.1 you can use Startalk 1.35 software and up.
The KSU should also be DS

Yes, any startalk flash cabinet will accept any version of it's software. Curly's right, though. 2.0 will work on any KSU revision, but you'll have to be careful if you use an earlier flash sw.
