Wondering if anyone can help. I've got a UK MICS 0+32 that's happily been working with a ST180 for the last few years which has suddenly stopped working. If I try to ring the ST180 extension (232) it comes back 'not in service'. If I try to access it via F983 or any other code it responds 'inactive feature'. I've changed the unit out for a replacement unit that I tested on our C+ICS but when installed even this doesn't work. When checking the port status in maintenance, it takes a long time to come back ('other') and then if interrogated further claims to equipped with a STK1. However, I still can't access it. BTW, the replacement unit was initialised when connected to our C+ICS. Anyone got any ideas???

It sounds to me like the hard drive has failed. You'll either need to replace the hard drive or upgrade to a different voicemail system. Try connecting a PC to the DB25 serial port on the Startalk (default settings 300, 7-E-1) and watch the boot sequence. It may tell you where the failure is occurring.

Willl Feature 903 to reset the feature key do the trick, I have had couple in the past that the hard drive died

Morning all, This version of Startalk doesn't have a hard drive (that's the Startalk Mini). Can't access ANY feature codes.
The MCIS ir UK rel 5 software, not sure about the Startalk as not on site at the moment. To the best of my knowlege there are no compatability issues with the ST180. I understand that the ST Mini won't work with an MCIS (although when I've connected one up in the past it did seem to work).

my experience has been even though they say it does not work, at time it does but sometimes certain features will not work or all of a sudden it stops working. Had a mini once it just stop working

Evening all, Plugged a Startalk Mini in and it worked, although the language selection was incorrect. Daren't leave that there just in case. Beginning to think there may well be an issue with the replacement ST180, although it works fine when connected to a Compact Plus. The old ST180 didn't work when plugged into same so at least I know it's duff. AAArgh!
