start Avaya Communication Manager Messaging 1

I have an Avaya Communication Manager Messaging
the service status is "You can not perform your selected administration task right now because this server's messaging software is not running, please start the messaging software and then retry the operation."
Can anyone help and tell me what I'm missing?

Means the messaging services aren’t running

What are you trying to accomplish? Nothing seems wrong so far assuming that CMM is stopped.
