Hi!

How to start (page nr 1.) a facing page on the left side?

Thx

gupy

You can't start a facing page document on the left hand side.

A page on the left is going to be an even page number. Facing pages CAN start on the left, but only as an even page number....

Create a facing page doc. Change the page number of the first page to page 2. Then it works fine.

Think about whether or not you actually need facing pages. For some layouts, it's actually easier to leave it turned off and use the document layout palette (F10) to drag pages together as spreads. In this case, there is no left or right as such, but you can drag page 2 to the right of page 1 instead of underneath it.

If you are sending this file out to be printed, please check with your service bureau for advice, as facing pages abuse can really mess up some imposition software.
