Starplus DHS & Minivoice

Went to a new site today, they have starplus dhs, FP3, with mini voice, sw ver 10027, prompts ver 10000. connected via vodavi slt interface. the problems are that when a mailbox user listens to a message and press 2 to save the message is not always saved. when that user reviews saved messages previously saved messages are not all there. also there seems (to them) sometimes a long delay in the mwi indicator being set after a message is left, from 1 to 24 hours. both of these situations are not particular to any one mailbox
While on site I called in several times and left messages in various mailboxes, the mwi worked fine. also could not duplicate the lost message scenario.

Any one run into this before and any thought as to how to correct?

I haven't worked with the Mini but have installed the DHS with the Dispatch many times. The difference is that the Dispatch came out first as a Harddrive based voicemial that interfaced via Analog Ports and in-band integration with the DHS. Then came all of the Flash memory systems (Nortel Flash as an example) and to keep up with the Jone's Vodavi released the Mini which to my understanding programs and acts like the Dispatch without alot of the bells and whistles. I'm giving this brief history due to a major problem that I experienced with the Dispatch that sounds exactly like your problem. Vodavi had the Dispatch Y2K compliant but found that the fix for Y2K caused a problem in 2001. In Jan. of 2001 I started getting compliants of lost messages and other freaky problems from the Dispatch systems that before then I had had ZERO probelems. I turned out that any message that wasn't listened to and saved before 11:00pm each night would be purged from the system sometime before the next morning. If you got, listen too and saved them message it was still in the box otherwise it was erased by the system as it went through the nightly diagnostic routine. Vodavi had a simple software upgrade that fixed the problem. I'm not sure if this is the same with the Mini but I would call tech support and explain this and refer to the Dispatch problem if needed.
