Does anyone know if Star Office 6 will run in a Citrix environment? Thanks!

I installed it yesterday and it runs, not sure how well it runs yet. At the moment could not find how to change a user's default save directory.

I have been doing some testing in this
Frankly I'm not that impressed :( , as you will see...

- I have alot to say on this so if you need further details please shout.

1.)You need to run a Network Installation: X:/setup.exe -net
2.)After Install you need to publish the Setup.exe and let
your users complete the Workstation part of the install - AS IF !!!!
3.) You need to make sure you copy the "sversion.ini" file from the "%InstallDIR%/user" to the %APPDATA% directory of every user currently on your system and additionally to the default user profile %APPDATA% directory.
4.) As to how to change the users Default Data Storage ,I'm getting a friend to write a Java Script tweak ,will post when writen ,but don't hold your breath.

It's a lot easier on MetaFrame for UNIX.

1 and 2 still apply, but user files get copied to the users home dirs, and default data storage is pointed to the same place.

Maybe you could write an Application Compatibilty Script using the files in %systemroot%\Application Compatibilty Scripts as templates?

Just a thought; did you install using change user/install mode?

I hope this helps

Thank you everyone for your input. Both solutions won't work because most of the user's will be on Thin Clients therefore there can't be any client side installs. (I'm sorry that I neglected to include this minor detail ;-) )
Is anyone familiar with Sun's WebTop One? Is that what I need?

Thank You!
