have been using Star Office 5.2 for a year or more on Linux without any problems.

I have now set up two new Windows 95 Users.

We have a schedule server so we can access each others calendars.

When the Windows users tries to add a participant to an event Star Office crashes. It only crashes when they try to add another schedule server user. if they add someone from the address book this doesn't happen.

can anyone help. I want to roll this out to another eight users but this problem is holding things up. Thanks

I dont have a specific reply to your question but - I'm on linux and I'm using so 6 beta. Why don't you try that (i'm not sure if it's available for win platforms)

I have used Star Office 6.0 but Sun have removed the email, scheduling & database modules which for me are the most import elements. Unless sun change their minds we will have to stay with Star Office 5.2 and never upgrade.

very disappointing. Well, probably there is a bug in the windows version. Did you check for patches? A nice alternative is to run star office from a linux server to a windows machine, like win x pro or something.

I do that for gimp, as it's very unstable on windows =)

i've installed the Sun patches but I still get the same problem. Unfortunately we do not have a powerfull enough server to run Star Office through the network.
