Standard Deviation HELP PLEASE

Sorry, very new at adobe and java language, but I am looking for some way to do standard deviation in my custom calculation script. I have 20 entries I would like the standard deviation on. They are labeled "R1P1" "R1P2" and so on to "R1P20"

Using adobe acrobat 5.0

I have tried this script, but it doesn't seem to work:

AFSimple_Calculate("STDEV", new Array ("R1P1", "R1P2"));

Anyone??
