I have PS 3.0 and some clients are having trouble logging in. The connection opens but it stalls on "Checking your credentials". It will stall there forever. This only happens on a few PCs. Tried installing the new client but that made no difference.

At the farm level make sure you have set all connections for connection types.

I don't think I know what "At the farm level" means. Which utility would I use to do this?

The Management COnsole. THen right click the farm on the left hand panel and click properties.

Thanks to mufka for posting this question; I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this problem.

Scott, after right-clicking on my farm and choosing Properties, I don't see anything related to "Connection Type" or "All Connections." The very first option is "Connection Limits" but that only seems to talk about how many connections can be established.

Can you point me to the correct option in the Farm Properties window?

Thanks.

Installing the service pack fixed the problem for me.
