Stalled Cartridges

First I would make sure when you open the cover that the carriage moves back and forth (the thing that holds the cartridges) if so, then I would proceed with a mechanical reset and perhaps semi full reset
mechanical reset - take cartridges out and any paper and open the rear access door and roll the rollers downwards. Put paper and cartridges back in and see if it works
semi full reset - is unplugging the unit and press and hold down "#" and "6" -- still holding them down plug in the unit. It should say something like performing "s-full reset" and everything should be clear and might work. Note: semi full reset clears all settings made by user
