Hi all
I have two baystack 425-24T switches that I want to stack.
I have disabled port 26 on both of them and can confirm that I do not see port 26 in the port configuration on either switch.
I have the stacking cables installed and both the up and down lights are lit. (now the second one has both the up and down LED's off for some reason - even after cycling the power)
Neither has the base LED on
The GBIC/Stack LED is off
So it looks like they are ready to stack, but they are not
The Hardware unit information only shows one unit and not two so I am assuming that they are not stacked.
I went into the CI and tried stacking-mode enable and then reset the switch (did this to both of them)
What do I have to do to get them to work as one? The manuals I can find are next to useless.
How do I force one to be the base?
Mick
