SSL on Ipaq and Exchange 2003

I have setup a mobile synchronisation with Activesync between a PocketPC (HP 4150 Pocket PC 2003) and our Exchange 2003 server without using SSL (stupid... I know...)
I read somewhere that it is possible to use an own Certificate.
How can I install this to make a save connection??

We have Ipaq 5450 and Exchange 2000. We are moving to SSL however at present need it to be turned off on the 5450 - does anyone know how? Or as TheNex asks how can it create its own cert without affecting other connecting devices?
