Hello,

I'm using GPRS on Orange (France) with a Fisio620 connected to my Fujitsu laptop via USB.
Everything works fine except SSH applications which refuse to connect to my servers when on GPRS.
From what I can understand, this could be a problem with port22.
Not only port 22 has problems: for example, an URL such like (fake) wouldn't work. Apps like CRT, Putty, Telnet, WinCSP will never work on my GPRS connection.
Not to mention that the guys at Orange don't seem to have a clue about this problem.

Does anyone have any idea that could fix the problem?
Please, someone save me from my depressed state of mind :)

I can understand the problems you are having. I am assuming that your servers are inside your Firewall.

The best product to connect to your lan using GPRS and use any program and port that you would normally use is e2work check it out at it is not expensive but it works !

Hello and thank you for the info Jezw :)

Unfortunately this stuff isn't for me (a poor individual:)
Anyway, those guys don't deserve such a terrible website!

Thanks again!

try
for telnet, but honestly..u should be able to telnet over GPRS just fine..as far as SSH goes...it should be no problem..neihter should SSL or IPSec. BTW- I use AT&T Wireless as a GPRS ISP.
