It is my understanding that the front panel dip switch setting on this card NTDK20GA controls the buad rate for port zero of the ambilical cable in the main cabinet. What is the proper procedure of changing that switch setting. Do I have to power the system down then make the switch or can I flip the current setting of 1200 off then flip to 9600 or 19200 switch on. I would definitely disable the port first but wondered if this can be done while the PBX is in operation.

Here is a tip.

Always move the current baud rate switch from the right to the left

Then move the new baud rate setting switch over to the right.

I've known the system to have problems if you don't do this.

The top switch can however, also be moved over if you want to reboot the SSC card and look for the CPU tests during the initial power up.

All the best
