Not sure if this is possible, but I have an office move which has a fax line working off my CS1000. They are moving to a location running only VoIP Phones off of an SRG. Is it possible to route their fax line through NRS and make it work off one of the SRG analog ports? I'm trying to avoid buying a B-1 line.

Shold be possible just send a distant end stering code to the BCM from CS1K across VOIP and make that the private rec number on the BCM target line to that analog DN. You will probably have to enable T.38 for fax to transmit.

I do have T.38 enabled, made my target line my 4-digit extension and added that line to ring on my Analog Set. I have also configured NRS for that extension to route to my SRG. I have not modified the TN in any way within the CS1K from when it was working locally. Would I need to convert it to a VoIP TN to make this work?

I do apologize if these are dumb questions, I'm coming from a military background working on DMS-100s, the CS1K is a new animal to me, although I have worked alot with BCMs and feel comfortable in the SRG.

I do appreciate the assistance!!

BCM50 R6.0 and CS1K R7.0 ... using H323, but am SIP Capable, we just don't use it yet.
