Hi all

I have a most annoying problem on srg. The site is an srg running to a nrs on a sig server (rel 4). The nrs reports loss of connection to the srg and as a conseqence all the calls from the srg release. This lost can occur at any time and does not seem to be network (data) traffic related. It is fully patched and I have had the network ports checked.

Any thoughts would be most helpful.

Regards
John

Is th PNI on Main office and SRG the same? it's a MUST!!
I had the same kind of problem before to do a correct setup PNI value

Thanks

I will check but am 99 percent sure that that thay are set to 1 at both ends.

John

That could be your problem, the patches! One of them could be conflicting! What do the logs on the sig server say after the issue, run rdtail or rdall in PDT to see?

The rdtail log just shows the srg node being released nothing else but there are some error codes being generated in the srg but Nortel says the programmer who put the codes in left before telling them what it means:(

John

Post them and I might be able to help, I work for Nortel now?

Cheers,
