I've got an SRC/P SCSI RAID card installed in a brand-new E450 that doesn't want to work. From the PROM, probe-scsi-all shows the device, I've done the setenv disk-led-assoc command, however prtdiag -v doesn't show the device, nor does format. obdiag sees the device, however, running a 'test' on it immediately returns without saying whether the device is good or bad. Should I assume that it is bad? Or am I missing something?

thanks for the reply mike, we've tried the 'boot -r' and had no luck. It seems we're now missing the SRC/P disc, and are in the process of securing another one, but are still trying to look for other options/solutions.

We had something similar with an E450 when we did a complete machine rebuild.. You need make sure you have got the RAID drivers installed otherwise it won't pick it up on boot..
