Hi,
I am a newbie to PS and SQR and this problem has been addressed before I guess but I couldn't find the correct fix for this problem. Here it is. I am running SQR thru dialog box on SQLBASE (windows 98, PS7.5 Single User) and I am getting this error saying "SQL.INI ERROR WIN32CLIENT ERROR.SQL NOT FOUND ERROR 03701". After some(my little knowledge) research :) I came to know that I need to set SQRDIR= something from dummy. Which path I have to set for this variable. Is it for SQRBINW or SQLBASE where my SQL.INI file exists. I tried both but no change. Am I missing something? Techies, Pros can you throw some light on this.
Thnx

Hey,

I fixed my own problem!!! Actually the "start in" in SQR shortcut properties is pointing to SQLBASE. why I donno yet, anybody knows, plz let me know that. That should be pointing to SQRBINW. I tried to change it but it didn't accept it firt. I tried to open SQRW from SQRBINW, it said the "some required dll is not present". I searched for it and copied it in SQRBINW. Actually there are 2 dlls we need to copy. Then I changed start in to SQRBINW and duh, its working!!! If anybody knows what really happened here, plz explain.
