I would like some assistance from anyone in this group. I need help identifying, what can cause 1222s in a large 22gig user database?

I have not been able to identify what's causing the 1222s that prevents users form saving new data in the database.

Please suggest, what can I use to find out, who's causing these 1222s so that the process can be killed?

This is urgent - I hope someone can help!!!

Thank you so much.

Look to see what queries are locking records, and what spids are being blocked.

What would you suggest I do to find the queries that are locking records?

what spids are being blocked?

select * from master.dbo.syslocks will tell you which spids have locks on which objects. You'll need to check sysdatabases for what the dbid's mean, and the sysobjects table within the database for what object the id is.

You can use sp_who or sp_who2 to see which spids are being blocked, or check the master.dbo.sysprocesses table.
