Hi all... I'm kinda new to the dbase stuff. I can make tables, reports, quirries ect... But I would like to get better and start learning SQL. I seams that you can do more this way. What's the best, quickest and eaiest way to learn this? I don't have a whole lot of time to spend on this so the readers digest version of SQl would be nice. Any suggestions??

Thanks in advanced

Lance

If you say you can make queries...
Open any query you've made in Design View, then go to View-SQL View and you'll see the exact statement Access has built on your behalf.
Start with simple queries, like plain Select, then add stuff to the query in Design view and switch back to SQL view. The best way to learn is DOING. And if you make a mistake while learning, be happy, cause you'll avoid it in real life.

Good luck

If you are just learning SQL, then I recommend reading "SQL for Dummies". Its an excellent book for beginners. It has good explanations and examples.
