Hi,
i need your help in SQL syntax.
Let say i had a field name Book_No and data such as AH38JKJ98J.
Meaning Book_No = AH38JKJ98J.
What are the SQL syntax to just retrive "H38JK" from the Book_No??
VB syntax is Mid(Book_No, 2,5), how about SQL?? TQ.

Hi Terry
Thank you for your help. Finally i get the answer. TQ.

Regards,
Tan
