Does anyone know if there is a standard for SQL? I'm looking for something like ANSI's standards. I don't know if ANSI came out with standards for SQL, but if so, could someone point me in the right direction?

Yes there is an ANSI SQL standard that all databases are supposed to follow. You can get more on this from the internet.
