I am trying to find the correct version for a product I have purchased. The product works with SQL Server 7 or 2000, when I go into the Enterprise Manager about is shown SQL version 8.00.760 (What version do I have?).

Regards,

Jimmy

Check out FAQ183-3159 by osjohnm.

If you have trouble finding the information at look for the link on the top FAQs/DOCs. Then go to SQL Server Version Document.

I've seen a better way than @@version on this forum or the other one, FORUM183, but I can't remember where it was or the code. Do a search for it.
