I have a database GeoData on Sql Server 2000 Standard. The database does not want get started. In the log I see the following:

Starting up database 'GeoData'.
Starting up database 'GeoData'.
Starting up database 'GeoData'.
Starting up database 'GeoData'.
Starting up database 'GeoData'.

....

You get the idea.

This just keeps going. Could someone point me in the right direction for troubleshooting this issue? Is this is a lost cause? Is the database shot?

Thanks for your help.
