SQL Server to Access SQL Conversion

CAn some one tell me how to convert this SQL Server sql

Alter Table table1 ADD LinkDate DateTime Default getdate()

into the equivilent Access sql

Alter Table table1 ADD column LinkDate DateTime ??????

This kind of DDL can't be performed in the GUI (Access SQL), but only on an ADO connection (Jet SQL) (or I think, if you somewhere set the ANSI SQL mode to 92, you can probably do it in the GUI, too).

Say you have an ADO connection to the db you're working on, called cn

[tt]cn.execute "Alter Table table1 ADD column LinkDate DateTime Default Now()"[/tt]

Thanks took a little modificatiuon but now working fine.
