SQL Server Reporting Services

I've never worked much with SQL Server Reporting services before but am looking to do something with it.

I think I heard somebody say once than SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 Reporting services are virtually identical.
Is this true?

Not even close. '05 was a giant step up from 2K
