Sql Server Login Error

Anyone know what this means:
Connection failed:
SqlState: 08004
Sql Server Error: 4062
Server rejected the connection: Access to selected database has been denied

Checked the user, they have appropriate rights, it seems to be under any user that tries to log in from that computer. Any tips or suggestions would be great

Verify the default database for the SQL login. Make sure the login has been granted access to the default DB or chnage the default to a DB that the login can use.

Make sure the connection string isn't specifying a database that the login cannot access. This could be specified in the "Change the default database to:" of an ODBC DSN or the "Initial Catalog" of an ADO connection. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA

If they are not a dbowner, make sure that dbo use only is turned off.
