SQL Server express 05 and server management studio remote connection 1

Can these connect from another computer on the network. We have been having problems. It would see the server but wouldn't allow access. All services are running and were trying to connect through SQL server management from another computer on the network. Help. New to this stuff.

By default SQL Express doesn't allow access from a remote computer. You will need to turn on this ability within the Surface Area Configuration tool.
