SQL server error

Hi all,

i have a problem here, my SQL server 2000 on Win 2K refuse to start up. It gives the following error : -

The SQLSERVERAGENT service depends on the MSSQLSERVER service which failed to start because of the following
error: %%0

Have you gone into Services and tried to restart MSSQLSERVER service and then MSSQLSERVERAGENT service?

thanks bill,

i tried but the server doesn't restart. However, i tried to recover the settings by executing the setup again, and it works fine now..
