Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong area but i could not find a SQL Server systems specific forum.

I have just recently upgraded to SQL Server 2005 x64 bit system from SQL 2000 x32. I cannot figure out how to install the client tools (from the x64 CD's) onto my Windows XP (x32) desktop PC.

Is there a way of installing the client tools only onto my desktop using the command prompt or another fashion?

Many thanks in adavance!

you need to get the 32 bit version. The x64 won't install on your desktop.

- Database performance looks fine, it must be the Network!

Many thanks for the response.
