SQL server 2000 DTS designer components

After installing SQL 2000 DTS designer components was anyone able to run the SQl 2000 DTS under legacy in sql 2005 management studio. I get error. Thanks in advance!

When I had to migrate from DTS to SSIS I found it more than worth the time to just rewrite in SSIS. The performance increase was more than what people had imagined. a 5 hour DTS process became a 20 minute SSIS process.

That's true, but I have more than 50 DTS and do not have much time left to rewrite them. I have moved all of them under legacy and installed SQl 2000 DTS designer components i get the following error:
""the DTS host failed to load or save the package properly" ANy help please.
