SQL ODBC Driver and ODBC version

I have been working through a speed issue with Crystal Reports. Thread 149-937116.

They sent me a utility sqlcon32.exe to check the connectivity. When I run this utiltiy I get the following:

SQLDriverConnect Successful

ODBC Version is : 03

SQL Driver Name is : VFPODBC
SQL Driver Version is : 06.86.0001
SQL Driver Supported ODBC Version is : 02
SQL DBMS Name is : Visual FoxPro
SQL DBMS Version is : 03.00.0000

It appears I am running Version 3 of the ODBC but my Driver is only supported for version 2.

Where can I update this driver for VFP 7.0

The ODBC driver for foxpro has not been updated since VFP 6.0, so you have the latest driver.

Eddie,

Crystal Reports also supports OLE DB, so you could use the VFP OLE DB provider that comes with VFP 8.0. I imagine you can also download it from MSDN. Try searching for "Foxpro OLE DB Provider"
