SQL Mail Says OK but - No email received

I have configured SQL Mail on NT4 SP 6a running SQL 7 and as far as SQL is concerned everything is working. When I send a test email it says "Mail Sent" - I get no error messages whatsoever anywhere- SQL logs, NT logs. And even according to my SMTP logs it looks like the mail was sent but I never receive it. When I open the account in Outlook Express, I can send email from the same account that SQL is using and I get the email. I'm at a lose...

I'm having a similar problem (using outlook rather than outlook express) Did you every figure out what was wrong?

When I try to use Outlook Express instead of Outlook I don't get a "profile" showing up in the SQL drop down... what am I doing wrong?

Hi There

Outlook Express (OE5) installs a simple MAPI messaging subsystem and does not provide the mechanism for creating a mail profile, you cannot use it with SQL Mail as SQL Mail uses Extended MAPI.
