Some companies have information requests via url sites where you pass in parameters and get information out. My company does a similar thing, where we have to interface with out clients via http.
Say with something like coldfusion you need to pass parameters in via the url
Of course if we have the data which they want, we curently have a piece of coldfusion code which sends them information to their url and updates their server.
I know there are betters ways - but this is how a lot of companies work.
I was wondering it there is anything in SQL Server which could mimic this action, i.e. of sending the url string to internet explorer
