I was setting up a laptop and I have had a bunch of problems with it. Here's one. When the computer turns on i get this error:
Your SQL Server Installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with (Could not open SQLENV70.RLL). Please uninstall then re-run setup problem.
So you know, I have never installed SQL server on this machine so it has to be some software that installed some kind of version of this or windows uses sql.
What happend was this. I was updating Office one time and i got the blue screen (not good). Well when i restarted the computer it went right in but a bunch of stuff in office was not right and it did not want to uninstall or install right. What i did was I used system restore and broguht the computer back to an earlier version. Ever since then I had that error.
I am using Office 2003 Professional with Business Contacts manager on Windows XP SP2. Im thinking Business contact manager is using its own version of SQL server and i just need to reinstall that. I havent had a chance to do that yet. Any ideas on what it could be?
Thank you
Adrian
