We have a 6 server Citrix Metframe XPe server farm. We are using an additional server with SQL 2000 as a datastore. We will be running about 250 users off of this system.
Question: How many SQL 2000 CALs do we need to satisfy Bill Gates thirst for cash? I am assuming one per server.
PS: It took us over 2 weeks to get our system up and running with SQL 2000 because of IMA service errors. We tried every solution offered by Citrix and plenty of user forums with no success and eventually installed and configured a SQL 7 Datastore which worked fine, and then upgraded to SQL 2000 (after downloading a hotfix for this to work properly!).
